Nigeria and India are set to liaise on space technology development in an effort to accelerate growth in agriculture and communication.
Minister of science and technology, Ogbonnaya Onu made this public when he received an Indian delegation in Abuja. He said the collaboration would enable Nigeria to tap from India’s experience in space science and nuclear technology.
The Indian high commissioner to Nigeria, Nagabhushanna Reddy said both countries also stand to reap enormous benefits in the area of mining and exploration.
Both countries are to sign a memorandum of understanding to that effect.
