Enterprise Capital Market Brief (28/09/2017)


The Nigeria bourse closed with its All Share  Index (NSEASI) appreciate impressively with 0.93per cent and Market capitalization (MKT CAP) appreciate 0.93 per cent. The market bounce with in an active mode with capitalized stocks like NESTLE and others who shirked in prices in previous trading session.

All Share Index (NSEASI) for Thursday 28 September, 2017 closed at 0.93 per cent at 35,429.31slightly higher than the previous session’s 34,103.40.

Market Capitalization closed at 0.93 per cent to close at ₦12.213 trillion against previous session of ₦12.101 trillion which state an increase.

On the floor of the bourse records an increase of 7.20 per cent with exchange hands of 3,066deals against previous session’s 2,860 deals.

The total equities traded on the floor of bourse stood at 153.82 per cent positive to close at 346.2million units to the previous session’s 136.4 million units.

The Value of equities traded for the day fell to 124.83 per cent more than previous session’s ₦1.269 billion to ₦3.995billion which was recorded for the day.

Top Gain (20)

FIDSON, BOCGAS and C& I LEASING led the Twenty (20) top gained stocks today. FIDSON gained at an increase 10.19 per cent to close at ₦3.57, followed by BOCGAS with increase of 5.00 per cent to close at ₦3.78 and C&I LEASING  which is the third on the list appreciated by 4.89 per cent to close at ₦1.52

 Top Decline (23):

NASCON, CCNN and MRS led the Twenty three (23) top declined stocks today. NASCON dip 8.24 per cent to close at ₦12.02 followed by CCNN  with  5.00 per cent  negative to close at ₦8.36 and MRS which fall the third on list 4.99 per cent to close at ₦31.98 .

Ten Best Stocks:

ZENITH BANK, FBNH and GUARANTY recorded the most deals of the day.

SKYE BANK, MANSARD and TRANSCORP recorded the most volume in the day.
