The NSE All-Share Index on the floor of the Bourse this week depreciated by 0.34 per cent while the Market Capitalization appreciated by 0.20 per cent to close the week at 36,462.26 and N12.619 trillion respectively.
The total equities value of the the week stood at positive 17.03 per cent to close at N16.403 billion to the N14.016 billion closed previously.
The total equities volume of the week stood at a positive 59.6 per cent to close at 1,394 billion shares to the 872.89 million shares closed previously.
The total market deals exchanged of the week close a slight positive 0.77 per cent to close at 19,195 deals to the 19,047 deals closed previously.
SUMMARY OF PRICE CHANGES
Thirty-three (33) equities appreciated in price during the week, higher than twenty-three (23) of the previous week.Thirty-two (32) equities depreciated in price, lower than thirty-four (34) equities of the
previous week, while one hundred and six (106) equities remained unchanged lower than one hundred and fourteen (114) equities recorded in the preceding week.
Top 10 Price Gained
The following are the highlight of the top price gained stocks as the market closes for the week. NASCON ALLIED PLC gained N2.74 at positive 20.76 per cent at the opening price of N13.20 to close at N15.94, followed by DANGOTE FLOUR gained N1.35 at positive 19.56 per cent at opening price of N6.89 to close at N8.24 and the third place on the list FIDELITY BANK PLC gained N0.22 at positive 15.28 at the opening price of N1.44 to close at N1.66.
On the flip side of the Bourse, the top declined stocks was led by CUTIX PLC to a loss of N0.58 at negative 22.31 per cent at the opening price of N2.60 to close at N2.02, followed by FORTE OIL to loss at N6.36 at negative 14.24 per cent at an opening price of N44.65 to close at N38.29. The third place of the list, AXAMANSARD INSURANCE PLC who loss with N0.23 at negative 10.22 per cent at an opening price of N2.25 to close at N2.02.
The top best of the week on the floor of he Bourse are UNITED BANK OF AFRICA PLC, ACCESS BANK PLC and FBN
HOLDING PLC (measured by volume) recorded 515.058 million shares worth N4.458 billion in 3,088 deals, contributing 36.95 per cent and 27.17 per cent to the total equity turnover volume and value respectively.
The Financial Services Industry (measured by volume) led the activity chart with 1.116 billion shares valued at N10.153 billion traded in 9,942 deals. Thus contributing 80.05 per cent and 61.90 per cent to the total equity turnover volume and value respectively.
The Consumer Goods Industry followed with 95.005 million shares worth N3.251 billion in 4,443 deals.
The third place was occupied by Conglomerates Industry with a turnover of 90.194 million shares worth N645.159 million in 1,136 deals.
EQUITIES TRADING PRODUCTS (ETPs)
Also traded during the week were a total of 104,544 units of Exchange Traded Products (ETPs) valued at N11.506 million executed in 7 deals compared with a total of 34,573 units valued at N2.091 million transacted last week in 14 deals.
A total of 559 units of Federal Government Bonds valued at N485.8 million were traded this week in 5 deals, compared with a total of 7,279 units valued at N7.139 billion transacted last week in 12 deals.
In addition, all other Indices finished lower during the week with the exception of the NSE ASeM, NSE Banking, NSE Lotus II and NSE Pension Indices that appreciated by 0.18 per cent,0.84 per cent ,0.57 per cent and 0.76 per cent respectively.
