Enterprise Television – Access Bank Shows Support for Women Entrepreneurs
Access Bank MD, Herbert Wigwe has expressed support for women entrepreneurs at the ‘Power Breakfast with W’ which took place at the bank’s headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The programme is part of the W Initiative women empowerment movement which has helped inspire, empower, connect and train over 55,000 women across Nigeria.
Wigwe, said, “We believe so much in the power of women, which is why Access Bank supports and celebrates Nigerian women who defy all odds to stand out and achieve success”.
“We have helped and we will continue to equip women to secure tomorrow through various seminars and workshops such as ‘Womenpreneur’ workshops, partnered trainings and workshop, career and life enhancement programs.”
The event engaged Female professionals from various fields as they interact, share ideas and also get feedback.
The CEO, Ruff n Tumble, Nike Ogunlesi, stated that Access Bank has helped her and other women achieve many things they thought was unachievable.
“My dream building is standing today because of Access Bank. It’s the only bank that showed willingness to believe in me and support my dreams. I am a living proof that it is the best financial institution any woman can bank with,” Ogunlesi added.
