Extraclass.ng, a Lagos start-up, has won the N1 million Taiwo Bankole Ogunyemi prize at the Techtiary Forum 2017 organised by Paradigm Initiative, a social enterprise, which connects youths with ICT-enabled opportunities.
Gbenga Sesan, the Executive Director of Paradigm Initiative, presenting the N1 million cheque to Miss Oyinyechi Nmecha, co-founder and chief executive officer of Extraclass.ng, praised the company for their innovation and urged them to work harder and make good use of the prize money.
He said that a big part of the price money would go into building capacity of extraclass.ng to do more in the market place.
The theme of Techtiary Forum 2017 was “Geek Entrepreneur – Beyond Coding” and was held from November 28 to 29, 2017 in Yaba, Lagos.
Over 300 students selected from all the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria attended the event.
