The Nigeria bourse closed with its All Share Index (NSEASI) declining by 1.15 per cent and Market capitalization (MKT CAP) declining by 0.59 per cent lost 407.46 points and N71 billion to close negative, had highly capitalized stocks like DANGCEM, NESTLE and NB all shirked in prices which inspired the downward slide.

All Share Index (NSEASI) for Tuesday 26 September, 2017 closed at 1.15 per cent at 34,951.27 which is lower than the previous session’s 35,358.73.

Market Capitalization closed at 0.59 per cent to close at against previous session of ₦12.119 trillion which represents a decrease.

On the floor of the bourse records an increase of 9.55 per cent with exchange hands of 3,120 deals against previous session’s 2,848 deals.

The total equities traded on the floor of bourse stood at 366.92 per cent increase to close at 500.3 million units to the previous session’s 107.148 million units.

The Value of equities traded for the day increased by 164.86 per cent more than previous session’s ₦1.367 billion to ₦3.621 billion which was recorded for the day.

Top Gain(16):

NEIMETH, NASCON and MANSARD led the sixteen (16) top gained stocks today. NEIMETH gained at an increase 4.84 per cent to close at N0.95, followed by NASCON with increase of 4.80 per cent to close at N13.10 and MANSARD which is the third on the list appreciated by 4.71 per cent to close at N2.00.

 Top Decline (19):

INTBREW, MCNICHOLS and CONTISURE led the nineteen (19) top declined stocks today. INTBREW dip 4.89 per cent to close at N35.68 followed by MCNICHOLS with decrease 4.72 per cent and CONTISURE which fall the third on list 4.46 per cent to close at N1.50.

Ten Best Stocks:

GUARANTY, ZENITHNBANK and FBNH recorded the most deals of the day.

STERLNBANK, ACCESS and MANSARD recorded the most volume in the day.

GUARANTY, ACCESS and DANGCEM recorded the most value in the day.

Other Indexes:

Financial services industry was the most active industry for the day with 448.227 million shares exchanged for ₦2.538 billion Tuesday.

Conglomerates Industry was next with 19.343 million shares traded for ₦0.028 billion.

Consumer Goods Industry, Industrial Goods industry and Healthcare Industry followed respectively.
